Dear Parish Council Members,
I know many others would wish to join me in saying ‘well done’ for initiating the safety path at Green’s Corner and after some years, I believe, seeing it come to fruition. I’m sure it is a great relief to those who have to negotiate this tricky area on foot.
Safety on the road surrounding the church for those with wheelchairs or prams has been a major concern of the PCC for some months and following your initiative it has been suggested that the ‘kissing gate’ at the west end of the church path be converted into a single gate so that these folk could use the path and avoid the road. Obviously the steps by the gate would need looking at. The west end gate has a simple solution, to my mind, but would need confirmation from Mr. Mann before proceeding.
In the past we have consulted you , certainly on the western entrance, so would appreciate your comments.
Yours sincerely,
